Differential Association Theory

Differential Association theory was by sociologist Edwin Sutherland in 1939 as a learning of Criminology, he further gave 9 major principles that how people engage in crime.

His most efficient point in this theory is

 " crime is learned behaviour."

Because earlier there was multiple concepts of crime causation that can be super natural , ghost powers, supernatural approaches that compels to commit crimes.

But in this theory Sutherland clearly defined that crime is learned behaviour , people learn criminal behaviour through interaction with teachers of crime .
