Probation is release of an offender on the basis of previous record of a person if a person who didn't have any criminal record in past and he has not committed any violant crime such as rape or murder then in such situation court will release the offender in anticipation so that he will never commit these acts again.
Parole is release of an offender on basis of good conduct in prison while he completing his punishment. Parole always given to a offender by the method of 1/3rd of his punishment.
